To start with, our monthly membership cost is lower. Once we’ve selected the best plan for you and enrolled you with your new provider, we don’t stop there. We continuously monitor the market to ensure you’re always on the best plan.
How do you know we do this? We send you an email each month to let you know whether or not you’re still on the best plan. If we find you a plan that we estimate could save you over $100 annually, taking into account your Early Termination Fee, we will notify you and give you the option to switch. We will of course handle the switch for you!
We also send you a savings report each month to let you know just how much you’re saving with Power Wizard. Plus, when it’s time for your plan renewal, we manage that too!
You can still join! Select your new electricity plan start date within the 60-day grace period prior to your current contract end date to avoid an Early Termination Fee (ETF) from your current provider. Power Wizard unfortunately does not pay your ETF.
Sometimes the benefit of enrolling in a better plan and lower rate selected by Power Wizard is worth paying your ETF to enjoy electricity bill savings right away.

However, keep in mind that by canceling your membership we will no longer be able to monitor the market for you, send you savings reports, or handle your renewal when your contract expires.
Part of our service includes making sure you avoid those outrageous month-to-month electricity rates you could automatically roll onto when your current contract expires. Before you know it, your electricity rate could double! Not with Power Wizard.
Since we know when your current contract ends, we are already on the hunt to find you your next great plan. We’ll handle that enrollment, too. Just set it, and forget it!
You don’t have to do a thing. When Power Wizard enrolls you with your new electricity supplier, your current supplier contract will automatically end so there will be a seamless switch to your new supplier.
One of the services Power Wizard provides its members is regularly monitoring the electricity market to ensure our members are always on the best electricity plan, and that they never have to worry about overpaying for electricity.
After your initial enrollment, Power Wizard may recommend you switch to a new electricity plan in the middle of your contract as part of our Best Plan feature. We will include the amount of the ETF as part of the overall savings estimate. You can weigh the total value of Power Wizard’s new recommendation before switching. We won’t switch you to a new plan without your permission.
It depends on what rates the current market is offering. But rest assured, we always choose a fixed-rate plan to protect you from the nasty surprises of variable-rate plans.
Electricity contract term lengths vary and can be as short as 3 months or as long as 3 years. Most often the contract terms we select are between 6 and 12 months. We may also enroll you into a 24- to 36-month plan if this plan is showing to be the lowest rate at that moment in time, and too good to be left alone!
If you’re concerned about moving out of your home before your contract term expires, there’s no need to be. You can often transfer your current electricity plan to your new address. Early termination fees do not apply when you move out of your home to a new address. We do, however, need you to call us so we can handle the process on your behalf.
If the plan Power Wizard selected doesn’t suit you, let our Customer Care team know as soon as possible, and we will set you up with a new provider.

For our Gold VIP Members, we actively monitor energy market rates. If we find a better energy plan, we will notify you of your options. However, we won’t switch you to a new plan mid-contract without your permission.
If Power Wizard makes the recommendation to switch plans during the term of your current contract, causing an Early Termination Fee (ETF), it will include the amount of the ETF as part of its overall savings recommendation, so you can weigh the total value of the new proposal before switching.

In some cases, we may select an electricity plan from one of our affiliated retail brands, because it’s the best electricity plan for our member at that time. However, if our member is unsatisfied with their placement, we are happy to switch them to the next best electricity plan from a different retail electricity provider at their request.
